Tracey graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with her Master’s in Physical Therapy in 2001. She is a dedicated Physical Therapist who has worked with the pediatric population since 2002. She specializes in early intervention from birth to 3 years of age and currently works for Pediatric Specialty Associates with the First Steps Program. She has worked with a variety of diagnoses, including but not limited to developmental delay, torticollis, prematurity, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, arthrogryposis, rare genetic conditions, plagiocephaly, Down Syndrome, congenital heart defects, congenital malformations, visual impairments, plagiocephaly, and prenatal substance abuse, to name a few. She is comfortable working with kids with complex medical needs such as tracheostomies, feeding tubes, oxygen, etc. She has experience working with orthoses, reshaping helmet, de-rotation straps, Kinesio taping, and adaptive equipment. Tracey is very comfortable working with families of multiples, with nursing care, and with daycare providers.
Tracey is passionate about providing physical therapy services for children in need because she believes early intervention is vital to their development and future outcomes. She is very compassionate and caring as she can relate to many of her parents’ worries and concerns. She personally has had a child in therapy services and another who underwent extensive medical interventions.
Tracey currently lives in Carmel, IN with her husband, boy/girl twins, and dog. She also has a son in Heaven who passed away from brain tumors at the age of 6. She is a strong advocate for childhood cancer research and raises money in her son’s honor for The St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
