Stephanie Tellus, PT, DPT

Stephanie has been working as a Physical Therapist with PSA since 2019 and is passionate about supporting children and their families through early intervention! Stephanie was born and raised in Central Indiana and grew up learning about the world of First Steps from her mother, who was also a First Steps PT. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Dance Performance from University of South Carolina in 2015 and then came home to Indiana to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Indiana University in 2018. During her last year of physical therapy school, Stephanie was selected to participate in Riley Childhood Development Center’s Leadership & Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) fellowship program, which broadened her abilities to provide support to families and work as a part of an interdisciplinary team. Stephanie has a wide range of experience in pediatrics including work in early intervention, outpatient pediatrics, NICU, hippotherapy, and robotic-assisted gait training. She has completed advanced continuing education in DMI (Dynamic Movement Intervention), Myofascial Release, Torticollis, and reflex integration. Stephanie loves continuing to learn to meet the needs of the children she works with!

Stephanie lives in Westfield with her husband and three energetic young boys. She loves spending time in cozy coffee shops, walking along the Monon trail, cooking and baking for her family, being active in her church, and exploring the many family-friendly spots throughout Indy! Stephanie is passionate about educating families and finding fun ways to promote motor development at home and in the community. She enjoys building relationships with each of the families she works with and helping children reach their highest potentials!
