Lauren Isabell (McKinney) is an Indianapolis, IN native. She is a proud Pike High School graduate. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Indiana University in 2014 and a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Cincinnati in 2016. Lauren has experience working as a culturally responsive, trauma informed speech-language pathologist with a passion for supporting families and children in historically excluded communities. Lauren has provided services in a variety of settings to include public schools (Chicago, IL), private clinic (San Jose, CA), early intervention, and most recently outpatient care at Riley Hosptial for Children where she treated a variety of complex communication disorders. She especially enjoyed evaluating and treating fluency disorders and vocal cord dysfunction. Lauren previously worked for PSA from 2018-2020. She rejoined PSA in March 2023 eager to return to meeting caregivers where they are and educating, empowering, and supporting their ability to foster communication skills in their toddlers with confidence.
Outside of supporting families in her community, Lauren enjoys spending quality time with her husband, daughter, friends, and family. She loves traveling, theme parks, coaching preschool gymnastics, listening to memoirs and suspenseful “who done it” books on Audible, and a good Netflix binge (she loves a good story)! Lauren is an active member of her church and strives to get up early in the morning to workout at the Orhtoindy YMCA!
