Lauren Harper, SLP-CCC

Lauren Harper joined the PSA team as a speech-language pathologist in April 2022. Before joining PSA, Lauren served the pediatric population at St Vincent’s outpatient clinic. She has also worked at Kids Count Therapy, where she provided services in their outpatient department and through their associated charter schools. While at St Vincent, Lauren gathered infant and pediatric feeding knowledge, as well as sensory feeding knowledge. Kids Count furthered Lauren’s knowledge of different behavior types and how to appropriately manage behaviors, expanded her knowledge of AAC devices, and strengthened her early language play skills. Lauren has a passion for assisting children with speech sound disorders and or language impairments. Hearing a child say a word, for the first time either verbally or via a device is music to her ears! In her spare time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Oliver. She also enjoys yoga, walking, and reading – when she’s not participating in her 3-year-old daughter’s play agenda!
