Kris Wu, DT

Kris Wu graduated from Indiana University in 1997 with a Kindergarten-Primary Degree as well as an Early Childhood Degree. Kris has had a wide variety of teaching experiences since graduating which have proven to be helpful with gaining perspective on the early childhood age as well as goals for children as they reach elementary age in a classroom. She taught third grade in Indianapolis for three years following by second grade in Oak Park, IL. She and her husband then moved to San Diego where she taught preschool and Kindergarten, and finally settled down in Indiana where they have raised their two boys. Once back in Indiana, Kris worked in a preschool classroom with two year olds for five years. During this time, she developed a passion for teaching, nurturing, and working with this early childhood age group and their families. In 2013, she began working for Pediatric Specialty Associates as a Developmental Therapist! Kris has enjoyed her time with the agency and all of the families she has met and worked with closely. She believes in working as a team with each family in a positive and encouraging environment and communicating regularly. Kris feels that by partnering alongside with the parents she can help them gain confidence and strategies to better meet their child’s goals
