Kim Forehand, MS, OTR/L

Kim Forehand graduated from Ohio State University with her Masters in Occupational Therapy in 2014.  She has thoroughly enjoyed working with little ones for her entire OT career and does not see that changing anytime soon!  She has worked in First Steps in Northern Indiana, a pediatric outpatient clinic in both Goshen, Indiana and Knoxville, Tennessee and now with PSA since January 2023.  Prior to OT school, Kim worked in a developmental preschool and a center for autistic children.  Her interest areas include sensory processing, autism, feeding—especially sensory feeding difficulties, regulation/calming strategies for toddlers and families, and celebrating every step in fine and gross motor skill development.  She enjoys walking alongside parents and caregivers through encouragement, coaching, and problem solving all areas of child development.  When she is not working, she loves spending time with her two daughters, her husband, and her cat.  She enjoys spending as much time outside as possible, exploring new parks and playgrounds with her family, biking, hiking, and swimming, reading, and finding local treasures around Central, Indiana, and beyond.
