Jennifer Sitzman

Jennifer Sitzman is a 2000 graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Special Education. During her teaching career, she taught elementary, middle and high school special education students along the mild interventions’ continuum of services. In addition to Indiana, she taught in northern Virginia and near Charlotte, North Carolina. Jennifer and her family became involved with PSA in October of 2021, when her daughter, Iris, started receiving First Steps services from PSA therapists.  Her involvement evolved in March 2024, as Iris was aging out of First Steps, Jennifer was hired as the Referral Coordinator. Outside of parenting, Jennifer volunteers with various committees at her church and Down Syndrome Indiana, serves on the Cluster G LPCC, and the box office at Footlite Theater. She loves reading, having coffee and enjoying free events around Indy. Jennifer, Iris and her husband, Brad, live in Indianapolis.
