My name is Jennifer Ferrell. I graduated from Hanover College with an undergraduate in Psychology in 2004 and with my Masters in Occupational Therapy in 2011 from Indiana University. After graduation I worked with adults and children at St. Vincent Hospital both in inpatient and in outpatient therapy. Then I worked for many years at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana mainly specializing in Stroke and Spinal Cord rehab. I started working for PSA in 2021. I truly love being able to work with the children in their most natural environments and provide education to their caregivers. I love seeing so much growth throughout my time with the kids and working alongside the parents to help create goals that are meaningful to them. I enjoy working with all kinds of kids but especially with areas such as autism and sensory processing. I also love working together with other therapists and co-treating to find what is best for each kid we serve.
When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 kids. You can see me cheering my kids on at all their sporting events. We love getting outside and exploring new parks, going on bike rides and swimming in the summer time. I found out about PSA when my daughter received Speech services through PSA when she was little. I also love to read and volunteer at church and at my kid’s schools.
