Hello, my name is Hillary Lupo. I’ve been a First Steps speech therapist since 2018. I graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and Disorders and then went on to earn my master’s degree in communication sciences and Disorders from the University of South Carolina in 2018.
I’ve always been passionate about working with children, especially in early intervention. I believe that communication development is crucial during this stage of life, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children in the birth to three population.
I love working with families, teaching them effective strategies for play and communication with their children, and witnessing their children’s growth and development. It’s truly rewarding to see how much they can learn and progress at such a young age.
In addition to my professional work, I’m married to my husband, Max, and we have two beautiful baby girls. Having children of my own has made me a better pediatric speech-language pathologist. It taught me valuable lessons about patience, compassion, and the importance of nurturing children’s growth.
In my free time, I enjoy working out, walking, spending time with friends and family, and puzzling. These activities help me relax and recharge, and they also provide me with opportunities to engage in activities that I enjoy.
